The problem it solves
Canvas prices change with width, height and frame depth, and a list of several hundred prices is easy to mistype or to enter twice (a 20x30 and a 30x20 are the same canvas). One wrong cell means a wrong price on a real order.

Services are quoted separately from plans and store packages, and each is billed on its own. On the plugin path, advanced pricing options depend on your Printcart plan. On a Canvas Store package, the store ships with a sample price template and this service replaces it with your own figures.

FAQ
How should I price canvas prints by size and depth?
Price each size and frame-depth combination as its own row, so a 24 by 36 inch canvas at 1.5 inches has its own price. We load your rows into Printcart Canvas, where the price is calculated on the server, and check a sample of combinations against your sheet.
Can you tell me what to charge?
No. We build the matrix from your prices. We can point out gaps and odd jumps in the file, but the numbers are yours.
My price file is messy. Is that a problem?
No, that is the normal case. The review step lists what we found, and nothing is built until you confirm the rules.
Are prices calculated safely?
Yes. Printcart Canvas calculates the price on the server from the customer’s choices and does not trust a price sent by the browser.
Can I change prices myself afterwards?
Yes. The handover note shows how, and our Managed Care service can do updates for you.
Does this need a paid Printcart plan?
Some advanced pricing options depend on your Printcart plan. The written scope states what your store needs.

Scope
- Scope, deliverables, price and timeline are confirmed in writing in your Helpdesk ticket before any work starts.
- Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and starts only after you approve it.
- Timelines depend on how quickly you share access, files and approvals.
Payment
- Fixed-price work is invoiced as agreed in the written scope, typically a deposit to start and the balance at handover.
- Custom quotes are invoiced by milestone as set out in the written scope.
- Printcart plan fees and store package fees are billed separately from services.
Warranty
- Anything we configured or built that does not work as agreed is fixed free of charge within 30 days of handover.
- The warranty does not cover changes made by others after handover, third-party plugin or theme updates, or hosting problems.
Access and data security
- We ask for the minimum access needed, through your platform collaborator or staff accounts, and work on a test copy where your platform allows it.
- Never send passwords in chat or email. Access is removed at handover.
- We use your files and data only for your project.
Ownership
- You keep ownership of the products, artwork, fonts, images and content you supply, and of the templates and configuration built for your store.
- Printcart keeps ownership of its platform, designer, tools and reusable components. Custom code written only for you is delivered for use in your store, as stated in the written scope.
Cancellation
- You can cancel before work starts at no charge.
- After work starts, you pay for the work completed to that point, as itemised in the written scope.
- Fees are not refundable.
Limits
- We build the prices you supply. We do not guarantee that your prices are profitable.
