The problem it solves
Split canvases are a staple of wall-art shops, and buyers search for them by name. They are harder to sell than a single canvas: the photo has to be cut so each panel lines up, the gap changes the total size, and every panel needs its own print file with wrap. Printcart Canvas today offers 34 layouts of one to six photos on a single canvas, and the split into several separate panels is not available in the plugin. That is what this service builds for you.
How it works
- Feasibility. We confirm the panel sets, sizes and your printer rules in writing, and tell you what is built new.
- Design. You approve drawings of each panel set, the gap and the combined size display.
- Build. The multi-panel mode is built on a test copy of your store.
- Print-file test. A sample order is followed to the per-panel files and checked against your printer specs.
- Review. You review; two revision rounds are included.
- Release. The mode is enabled on the products you choose.

Services are quoted separately from plans and store packages, and each is billed on its own. Multi-panel is built for your store as custom work. It runs on top of Printcart Canvas on the plugin path or on a Canvas Store package, and stays yours to run after handover.

What is a split canvas?
A split canvas is one image printed across two or more separate canvases that hang side by side. Common sets are two panels (diptych), three panels (triptych) and five panels.
Does Printcart Canvas already do split canvases?
No. The plugin has 34 layouts of one to six photos on a single canvas, but it does not split one photo across separate panels. This service builds that mode for your store.
How is the gap between panels handled?
You set the gap, and the preview, the price and the print files all use it. The buyer sees the combined size including the gaps.
How are print files produced for each panel?
Each panel gets its own print-ready file with wrap and bleed, named by order and position, so your printer can produce the set without re-cutting the photo.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
The Fixed package starts at $1,490 and typically takes two to four weeks once the design is approved. Anything beyond it is a fixed price after scoping.

Scope

Payment

- Printcart plan fees and store package fees are billed separately from services.
Revisions
- Design and build deliverables include two rounds of revisions inside the agreed scope.
- Further changes are quoted separately.
Warranty
- Anything we configured or built that does not work as agreed is fixed free of charge within 30 days of handover.
- The warranty does not cover changes made by others after handover, third-party plugin or theme updates, or hosting problems.
Access and data security
- We ask for the minimum access needed, through your platform collaborator or staff accounts, and work on a test copy where your platform allows it.
- Never send passwords in chat or email. Access is removed at handover.
- We use your files and data only for your project.
Ownership
- You keep ownership of the products, artwork, fonts, images and content you supply, and of the templates and configuration built for your store.
- Printcart keeps ownership of its platform, designer, tools and reusable components. Custom code written only for you is delivered for use in your store, as stated in the written scope.
Cancellation
- You can cancel before work starts at no charge.
- After work starts, you pay for the work completed to that point, as itemised in the written scope.
- Fees are not refundable.
Limits
- The panel files follow the printer specs you give us; a printer that rejects them is outside our control.
