How did we compare Zakeke and its alternatives?
We compared Zakeke with Customily, Teeinblue, Kickflip, Fancy Product Designer and Printcart on five criteria that decide what a personalized-product store pays and ships: supported platforms, entry plan with its per-sale fee and limits, free plan or trial, customer upload, and files for production. Every competitor statement links to the vendor's own site or Shopify App Store listing, checked on 26 October 2026; anything we could not read there that day was left out.
Printcart is our product: this site, solution.printcart.com, is run by Netbase JSC, the company behind Printcart, and the Printcart apps live on www.printcart.com. Printcart is held to the same criteria, its own limits are listed, and the last sections say where Zakeke or another tool fits better.
This article is for sellers of personalized products: gifts, print-on-demand apparel, engraved jewelry and configurable products. Print shops that sell business cards, flyers and large-format jobs have different needs, covered in Zakeke alternatives for print shops; the Shopify product customizer comparison covers the same apps from the Shopify side.
What does Zakeke offer for product customization?
Zakeke sells a 2D visual customizer, a 3D configurator, a 3D and AR viewer and virtual try-on, and its Shopify listing names all four on every paid plan. Customers can upload images, PDF, EPS and AI files, and Zakeke produces print-ready files based on each customer's design, as its pricing page describes.
On the pricing page, Starter publishes up to 10 products at a 1.9% fee per custom product sale, Grow 50 products at 1.7% and Scale 100 products at 1.5%, with 5, 10, 25 and 100 GB of storage; Enterprise is priced on request, with a 0% fee. Conditional rules inside the 3D configurator start on Scale, and the page prices virtual try-on as an add-on starting from $40, as of 26 October 2026.
Zakeke lists integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, PrestaShop, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Salesforce, OpenCart, Etsy, Shopwired, Shopware and Amazon, and its Shopify listing names CustomCat, Printful and Order Desk among the apps it works with.
Why do sellers look for a Zakeke alternative?
Sellers of personalized products usually look for a Zakeke alternative for one of three reasons: the percentage fee on each sale, the product cap of the entry plan, or a feature set built around 3D and AR that a flat product such as a mug, a poster or a t-shirt does not use. A gift shop with many designs reaches the 10-product cap of Starter quickly.
The fee model matters most as orders grow. Zakeke and Kickflip take a percentage of each custom product sale, so a higher-priced item pays a larger fee, while Customily and Teeinblue charge a fixed amount per order item that falls as monthly volume rises, per their pricing pages (Customily, Teeinblue). Fancy Product Designer's Shopify plan cards list an order and product allowance, and no per-sale fee is printed on them.
The third reason is fit. A store that sells printed flat products needs an online product designer, artwork upload with checks and a clean production file more than a 3D configurator, so it compares on fees, limits and files rather than on visualisation.

The five alternatives all cover the core job, customer personalization plus a production file, with different business models. Customily and Teeinblue are built around print-on-demand automation, Kickflip around products assembled from parts, Fancy Product Designer around 3D previews with a monthly allowance, and Printcart around the same designer on three platforms plus complete web-to-print stores.
Customily. Customily's listing describes ready-to-print, engrave or laser-cut files generated automatically, PNG, JPEG, PSD and PDF uploads, and unlimited stores, options and products. Its fee per personalized item sold falls from $1 for the first 100 items to $0.10 above 10,000, per its pricing page, as of 26 October 2026; the same page lists Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, WooCommerce and Shoplazza.
Teeinblue. Teeinblue's listing auto-generates production files and sends personalized orders to print-on-demand services. Its pricing page shows one plan at $49 a month with no item fee on the first 100 orders, then $0.40 per item up to 1,000 orders, $0.20 per item up to 10,000 and $0.10 above 10,000, as of 26 October 2026.
Kickflip. Kickflip's listing shows one Scale plan at $59 a month plus 1.95% to 0% per custom product sale, with unlimited products, page views and storage, as of 26 October 2026. It names conditional logic and a price per option, and its product customizer page describes print-ready files built from uploaded images and text. Kickflip alternatives for Shopify compares it with Zakeke, Inkybay, Zepto and Printcart.
Fancy Product Designer. Fancy Product Designer's listing offers real-time 3D previews and print-ready files with proper resolution and color profiles; Basic is $30 a month or $299 a year with 40 custom orders and 10 customised products, as of 26 October 2026. Its site also sells it for WooCommerce and WordPress.
Printcart. Printcart's apps cover Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix with the same designer, templates, text and image uploads, and print-ready files in SVG, PDF, PNG and JPG. The store-plans page caps Premium at 100 products with the public designer and 500 order-upload file downloads a month. The app pages name no AR viewer or virtual try-on; 3D and wall previews of saved designs come with every full-store package.
Which Zakeke alternatives connect to print-on-demand providers?
Customily and Teeinblue name the most print-on-demand providers on their Shopify listings, so they suit sellers whose orders are printed by a provider such as Printful, Printify or Gelato. Zakeke's listing names CustomCat, Printful and Order Desk. Kickflip lists apparel and print-on-demand among its use cases, and Fancy Product Designer calls itself perfect for print on demand and custom merch.
Customily's listing names Printify, Printful, Gelato, CustomCat, Gooten, ShineOn, Merchize, merchOne and others; Teeinblue's listing names Printful, Printify, Gelato, CustomCat, Dreamship, Prodigi and others. A provider named on a listing still needs a test order, because the print area and file format each provider expects differ by product.
Printcart's app pages describe print-ready files and do not name print-on-demand providers. A store whose provider has no ready-made connection can have Printcart build one through the POD Provider and Fulfillment Connector service, quoted after a review of the provider's interface; stores that print their own products only need the files.
What does a year of each entry plan cost?
Twelve months of each competitor's entry plan, before per-sale fees, run from $360 for Fancy Product Designer Basic to $838.80 for Zakeke Starter billed monthly, as of 26 October 2026: the sums multiply the monthly price on each Shopify App Store listing by 12. Customily and Kickflip bill every 30 days, so 12 of their billing periods cover 360 days. Printcart's prices are on its store-plans page.
| Tool and entry plan | 12 months, billed monthly | Billed yearly | Fee per sale or order item | Limits on the plan | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zakeke Starter | $838.80 | $712.98 a year | 1.9% on products sold via Zakeke (minimum 2 cents) | Up to 10 published products | Zakeke listing |
| Customily | $588 (12 × 30 days) | Not listed | $0.10 to $1 per order item | Unlimited stores, options and products | Customily listing |
| Teeinblue Blue | $588 | Not listed | $0.10 to $0.40 per order item; none on the first 100 orders a month | Unlimited options and products | Teeinblue listing |
| Kickflip Scale | $708 (12 × 30 days) | Not listed | 1.95% to 0% per custom product sale | Unlimited products, page views and storage | Kickflip listing |
| Fancy Product Designer Basic | $360 | $299 a year | None listed on the plan card | 40 custom orders, 10 customised products | Fancy Product Designer listing |
The fixed part is only half of the cost, so add the fee at your own volume: Customily's fee falls from $1 per item for the first 100 items sold to $0.10 above 10,000, Teeinblue's from $0.40 to $0.10 per item after the first 100 orders a month, and Zakeke and Kickflip take a percentage of each sale, per their pricing pages (Customily, Teeinblue). A store that would rather have the whole shop built can start from a Shopify T-shirt store or a custom jewelry store; the full-store packages start at USD 799 a year.

Zakeke fits better when the product needs to be seen in 3D or in the customer's own space: furniture, footwear, eyewear or a configurable object where an AR viewer or virtual try-on helps the buyer decide. None of the five alternatives names an AR viewer or virtual try-on on the pages we checked; besides Zakeke, Fancy Product Designer's listing and Printcart's full stores name 3D previews.
Zakeke also fits sellers who need one tool across many channels, since it lists the longest set of integrations of the six, including Etsy and Amazon besides the store platforms. A store with few, high-volume products can live with the Starter cap of 10 published products.
What should you check before switching from Zakeke?
Before switching, list your customizable products and your monthly orders, then price each alternative at that volume: the fee model, not the monthly plan, usually decides the cheapest tool. Check that the new tool's production files match what your printer or print-on-demand provider accepts, and run a test order on the free trial with your hardest product.
Moving also means rebuilding options, design areas and templates. Printcart's migration service from Zakeke does this in batches, and the migration service for other customizers covers Customily, Teeinblue and Kickflip. To score each tool on the same points during a demo, use the product designer feature checklist.

Frequently asked questions

Which Zakeke alternatives also work on WooCommerce?
Customily offers a WooCommerce plugin from its own site, Kickflip says it works with Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix, Fancy Product Designer runs in WooCommerce and WordPress, Teeinblue reaches WooCommerce through Teeinblue Boundless, and Printcart has its own WooCommerce plugin on WordPress.org.[13][17][21][16][3]
Can a store move its personalized products from Zakeke to Printcart?
Yes. Printcart runs a migration service from Zakeke that rebuilds printing options, design zones and templates and switches products over in batches; the service page lists its packages and what each one includes.[6]
